The IELTS training course is designed to prepare students who are going to take the IELTS (International English Language Testing System) examination in the near future for studying abroad or immigration to a country where English is the language of communication. IELTS scores are recognized by universities and colleges, employers, immigration authorities and professional bodies. All the sections of the exam (reading, writing, listening and speaking) are covered in our IELTS training program.

All the students who would like to join the IELTS courses at KTDC need to do a placement test with the trainer they will study with.

After the placement test, based on the test result, the trainer will give advice about which level is the most suitable according to the student's abilities and requirements.

All the IELTS training courses at KTDC aim to help students be fully prepared for the IELTS exam within a certain period of time. Students need be focused in order to study effectively and maintain a productive atmosphere in the class.

In the IELTS training course at KTDC, students will:

• study all four sections of the exam. In addition, students will be guided on proper vocabulary, grammar, and sentence structure. The trainer will teach them what they need to know to properly demonstrate the student's Academic English language ability in Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking.
• learn strategies, skills and time management for the test
• get used to various and different styles of questions, enhance vocabulary, and improve writing skills to be able to do well with different sections of the test.
• do a full practice test and receive a band score and feedback from the trainer.

After finishing the course, students will be able to:

• Confidently deal with various test types
• Deeply understand the IELTS test structure
• Maximize their IELTS band score

IELTS TRAINING courses available at KTDC:

1. IELTS Foundation level 1: 50% of course's time, students will study about the pronunciation rules, and foundation knowledge for the IELTS exam.
2. IELTS level 2& 3: Focus on 4 skills for the IELTS test with intensive training in speaking and writing
3. IELTS for Breakfast: a longer intensive morning class for students who wants to study the course in a short amount of time.
